Nope... Because carbon have higher resillency than aluminum. And higher strenght too.

Anything else?

And at the same distance as a shifter paddle. Perfect of you ride only one shifter.

That's not my bike, that's my coworker bike with the proto lever. I'll get this attachement soon I hope.

Btw, I have a Reverb too for the flatter trail, and my carbon post when no cranking's involved.

I work for a Canadian/American distributor.

Fast and stable, no kidding. It's a true race bike. Pedal like a charm but absorb the hell out of everything. Not quite ultra plush but perfect to go go fast.

Since the air tend to compress and decompress faster than a spring, It make the whole shock faster compared to a Vivid coil with the same adjustments. The shock did ramp up a little but not enough to really notice while riding. But I could see why people would prefer coil for plushiness. This is more a race shock than a freeride one. But you can adjust it from anywhere to anywhere to make it fit your weight and riding condition. I like that cause there's a lot of riding condition here in Canada.

I'm riding a R2C. 222 x 70 (8,75 x 2.75) b-tune but soon to be custom valved by my two favorite friend, left hand & right hand. Smile

I'll be messing around the shims stack fartest in the season.

If you go for a Vivid, don't forget to order your shock with the valve pointing to the piggy bag.

I'm pretty sure it would be, but I work where this brands is distributed in Canada. So it's cheaper.
The hope crown come with Ti bolt but it's not something you would adjust on the wild. Anyway, all those bolt was free, so no biggy about torx or not...
For the guide, I'd go with a ptfe upper. Indeed, it's very nice!

The clamp come stock with a steel bolt. I replaced the bolt for a Ti one.

And yes, the only stock bolt on that bike are the rear suspension ones.

And that's soon to be corrected Wink

Yes, I'm with you on that one. I've this flite Ti and now there's a SLR Kit Carbonio on this bike. The SLR is more flat than the flite.

You're welcome! I can recognise a nice bike even with my bike. The status is a fast looking bike and it's fast too! I rode mine a little and all I can say is that the rear suspension work like a charm! There's virtually no pumping while crancking and it's plush like hell!

Do you have the weight?

I went for the AS since we distribute them. I like the simplicity of the FSA and Works aheadset but what bother me is that in they're design, they seems to not take account of the headtube length, which can lead to premature bearing failure. But you can't have everything... Because of the gimbal, the AS creak like hell after a rainy ride...

Actually, I hope it's sarcasm. Razz

No those part aren't a good deal at all! Long story short, I work for a major bike part distributor here in Canada. So the custom build up wasn't that expensive. The only problem is that I have to get a frame by my own way. I use to work at a bike shop and asked them about the status, on which they make me a uber pro deal (I'm not pro, even far from pro). The reason why the Status caught my eyes is because back then, I bought a pair of wheel with a 135mm saint hub, and that's the pair of wheel I've stick with.

And for the Demo, I was bored and I'm personnaly not good enough to really see the difference.
Maybe next year a carbon Demo but who know...

And to go read the post your bike & sexiest bike and frame 2 tread.

Yes, and the oil. But the same way you would do with a Vivid Coil. Basically, it's the same shock. Imagine a vivid coil with an air can. That's exactly the same difference between the two.
